We are thrilled to announce that our inaugural program is FREE to attend! Registration grants you access to the whole of our virtual program, including panels, Q&As, watch parties, and our Welcome Address and Happy Hour.

13 Minutes is a volunteer-run festival and we kindly suggest a $20.00 USD donation when you register. Every cent goes back into the festival to ensure we continue to bring you a quality event.

Join Nyx Horror Collective for a LIVE recording of a Q&A with screenwriter, author and humorist Mishna Wolff, writer of the hit comedy horror feature Werewolves Within.

Join us for an intimate conversation with Jasmyne Peck, Development Executive at Monkeypaw Productions (Get Out, Us, Lovecraft Country, Candyman (2021)). Jasmyne will share what she and Monkeypaw are looking for from the next generation of genre creators—you won't wanna miss it!

PRODUCING & FINANCING YOUR INDIE HORROR FILM (PANEL), 3:00 - 4:00 PM PST

Financing is one of the biggest road blocks to film production, especially for women filmmakers. Horror producers and filmmakers Tara L. Craig (SHUDDER Original Shook), Aaron B. Koontz (Satanic Panic, Scare Package, Starry Eyes), and Terrie Samundra (Netflix Original Kaali Khuhi) share their insights to help get your indie horror project off the ground.

Our globalized world means openings for collaboration and exchange between regions and populations. Filmmakers Gigi Saul Guerrero (Hulu Original Into the Dark, El Gigante) Sapna Bhavnani (My Dog is Sick, Wench Film Festival) and Terrie Samundra (Netflix Original Kaali Khuhi) explore opportunities for horror creators beyond (and with) the American entertainment industry, wherever they may be based.

The creative team at indie genre film incubator Blood Oath (The Pale Door, Starry Eyes, Satanic Panic) sits down with 13 Minutes to share their insights into developing, financing, producing, distributing and promoting your low-budget horror film. 

A CONVERSATION WITH FANGORIA STUDIOS,
1:00 - 2:00 PM PST

The team from FANGORIA Studios, the newly launched film production branch of legendary FANGORIA Magazine, talks about their latest project, Sitora, and shares how they're elevating creators who have traditionally been marginalized in the horror industry—at FANGORIA, everyone screams in the same language!

THE FUTURE OF HORROR (PANEL), 2:30 - 4:00 PM PST

We close out our inaugural festival with a star-studded panel that will explore the changing face of horror, both in front of and behind the camera—the future is bright!
